At Amazon, get RIM Blackberry Playbook for £357!


The official release of the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet is weeks away but many sellers that are dispatching the widget and decreasing the official selling price.

DigiGood, an Amazon retailer, is offering the 16GB version of the slate for £357, a £43 discount off the expected retail price. This price is well below many competitive retailers such as Insight, DSGi, Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4U. BlackBerry Playbook will hit stores on the 16th of June across the UK and will be available with few retailers as a package with Blackberry mobile phones.

RIM's first tablet was formally presented nearly nine months ago and comprises of a 1 GHz dual core System on chip, the TI OMAP4430, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal memory space, Wi-Fi connectivity, Bluetooth, a 5 megapixel rear camera along with 1080p recording capability and a 3 megapixel front facing snapper, a 7'' massive multi touch display, Adobe Flash 10.1 support and HDMI & USB ports.

With a weight of 425 grams, it is extremely portable although it seems way bigger than it should be. The PlayBook is already on the 11th position in the list of best selling slates on Amazon.
